Why I built this site
A few years ago I was switching from RBC to Wealthsimple. I searched online for a referral code, found three different sites — two had expired codes, one had the wrong bonus amount. I eventually found a working code through a Reddit thread buried in comments.
That experience stuck with me. Referral bonuses are genuinely valuable — the Wealthsimple $25 bonus paid for my first ETF purchase. The Simplii $400 bonus covered a month of groceries. But finding a verified, working code in Canada was unnecessarily hard.
So I built WealthPerks. One place where every code is tested on the actual platform before it gets published, and updated the moment terms change.
"I only publish codes I've personally verified work. If a code fails verification, it comes down immediately — regardless of how much commission it might earn."
How we verify every code
Every referral code on WealthPerks goes through the same process before it's published or renewed:
Test on real platform
We go through the actual signup or checkout flow on the platform directly.
Confirm code accepted
The code must pass validation during checkout — not just be listed on a promo page.
Verify bonus amount
We confirm the exact bonus amount against current official terms, not cached pages.
Monthly re-check
Every code is re-verified monthly. Expired or changed codes are updated within 24 hours.
Who I am
I'm Alex Park, based in Toronto, Ontario. By day I work in tech. By evening I'm obsessed with finding ways to extract maximum value from Canadian fintech platforms — TFSA contribution room optimization, cashback stacking, referral bonuses.
I've personally opened accounts with Wealthsimple, Questrade, Simplii Financial, EQ Bank, Tangerine, Neo Financial, Public Mobile, and EBOX. Every code on this site went through my own signup flow or was tested directly on the platform.
I'm not a financial advisor. I'm just a Canadian who does the testing so you don't have to search through outdated Reddit threads to find a working code.
Our editorial standards
We only list what we can verify
If a referral program doesn't have a testable code or link, we don't list it. No speculative bonuses, no "might work" codes.
Affiliate relationships are always disclosed
WealthPerks earns a referral commission when you sign up through our links. This is disclosed on every page and on our Affiliate Disclosure page. The commission we earn never affects the bonus amount you receive — bonuses are funded separately by the financial institution.
Bonus amounts come from official sources
We confirm bonus amounts against the financial institution's own promotion pages, not third-party aggregators. If an institution changes their terms, we update within 24 hours of discovering the change.
Affiliate Disclosure: WealthPerks may earn a referral commission when you open an account through our links. This does not increase the cost to you or reduce the bonus you receive. Commissions are funded separately by the financial institution. We maintain editorial independence — we only feature programs we have personally tested and verified. Full disclosure →
